The export of cotton products is mainly divided into four categories: cotton yarn, fabrics, cotton clothing, cotton home textiles, and industrial use. From the perspective of major varieties, cotton clothing had the largest export volume in April 2024, with an export volume of 238500 tons, accounting for 42.98%; Next is fabric, with an export volume of 161500 tons, accounting for 29.11%. These two categories account for 72.09% of the total export volume of cotton products and are the most important categories of cotton product exports in China. Specifically, the export volume of cotton yarn in April 2024 was 24400 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.20% and a month on month increase of 42.90%. The export volume of fabrics was 161500 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.34% and a month on month increase of 8.59%. The export volume of clothing was 238500 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13.81% and a month on month increase of 22.31%. The export volume of home textiles and industrial use was 122300 tons, an increase of 10.18% year-on-year and 15.92% month on month.
